I love Josh Radin…he soothes my troubles away!

Waiting for My Real Life to Begin is one of my favorites. When I listed my top five, I was so close to putting that one on there.

Into the Mystic…ahhh.

Very recently, on Twitter, I asked for favorite songs because my Ipod is variety deficient. So I’m EXTRA loving this post. LOOK at all these great songs that I don’t have on my Ipod! You (and your taste in music) rock the party.

I’ve got some of those definitely. I’m into whole albums lately, so it’s Til The Sun Turns Black, Sia’s Some People Have Real Problems, Ok Computer, Joni’s Blue, also Sufjan’s Avalanche (especially the song The Mistress Witch from McClure (or the mind that knows itself), oh and Guster’s Ganging Up On The Sun.

Ooh, I feel like you did this just for me! I really need some new tunes!

This is a great list, I might have to explore some of the songs I’m not familiar with. What’s on my mind right now is developing a “labor playlist”. If you have any suggestions for me I’m all ears.

Now, I feel really, really old. I only recognize two of the performers, Van Morrison and Coldplay. (There is a Jose Gonzalez in my last hour class, but I don’t think this is the same guy.

I’m with you Molly…. I’ve heard of a few more: Mayer, Snow Patrol, The Fray, Feist, Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova, The Weepies, & Death Cab For Cutie… but couldn’t name a single song from them (well until this post and with google’s help)…

I have every one of these songs except for one. :) I knew I liked you!

What an *awesome* playlist!! I love so many of those songs and artists–especially Ray LaMontagne. “Shelter” is such poetry. Just started listening to Brandi Carlile and Meg Hutchinson. I think you’d like them! Brandi’s song “Downpour” is amazing. Really. Amazing.

Hi Sarah!

I enjoyed meeting you this weekend. I like your taste in music.

I have been listening to MGMT lately. Do you like them? If you do not know them, you should because I think you would like them!

13 Haley { 10.20.09 at 1:30 pm }

Wow Sarah, it’s kind of creepy…but your playlist and mine are pretty darn similar. :-)

P.S. If you like Frou Frou, try Imogen Heap (who is the lead singer, her solo stuff rocks my world).

Sadly I haven’t been listening to my iPod, I thought I would be able to put files on my phone, but when I filled up the card and put it in my phone started shutting off….totally not cool. But I love some of the songs on your list, others I haven’t heard of, will have to check them out.

A little birdie told me today was your birthday….so HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

15 Rhonda (mimi) { 11.05.09 at 9:33 am }

I’ve got to check out some of those songs. I haven’t been listening to enough music lately.

I could easily have that exact list on my ipod at any moment. But you’re missing one person – check out M. Ward “Let’s Dance”
