I know this to be true about you. Looking back, there were indications of this affliction in adolescence and by the time you hit high school you were done for. Although I may have fed this monster to a certain degree, I now find myself on the outside looking into a mind that is in a constant state of design. Evaluating. Questioning. Categorizing. Coordinating. Mentally taking things apart and putting them back together, again and again, and again with changes so minute that mere mortals could not tell the difference.
Even those of us on the periphery can’t help but be tainted in the most insidious of ways. Go ahead. Ask me what kerning is…
